In the southwest corner of the yard at the Mallory place there was a small house built by James Mallory (1818 - 1857) “with his own money” where he and his wife Susan Jones (1829 - 1882) lived with their son James William.
Inscription reads:

Beloved in life, regret’d
in death.
I will sing unto the
