OUR MISSION
At Preserve Mallory Cemetery, our mission is to preserve the historic burial ground through beautification projects that engage the community, empower people through volunteer programs and honor the buried by sharing their stories.
History
What began as one individual’s passion project in 2020 to honor the final resting place of Revolutionary War patriot Roger Mallory and his family, after being found in poor condition, has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
According to Tennessee Historic Preservation Program Specialist Graham Perry, of the 33,000 cemeteries currently documented in the state of Tennessee, there are about 1,000 small, family burial grounds located in Williamson County that are vulnerable and often lack resources to properly be preserved.
